Music is an integral part of my life. I'm always either listening to music or playing music! I play the keyboard, the guitar and the drums. I love listening to and playing rock, prog rock, and metal. I play the drums/guitar for a band called "Phenom", and play keyboards for "Cryptic", a local prog rock band.

I recorded, mixed and mastered a song written and sung by Chris Das, the vocalist of Cryptic. The song, called "She Walks Away", tends towards the poppy side, give it a listen. Download the MP3 here.

Untitled So Far

This is a tune I made some time in 1998 or 1999, I don't really remember when. I used Impulse Tracker 2.14 to compose this one, back in my DOS days! It's a techno-ish tune, sounds kinda repetitive to me, but check it out!

Linux Can!

"Linux Can" was composed in June 2000, by me and Atul Chitnis. I was working at Exocore during that time, and I had been trying to get Jazz++ to work on Linux with the AWE64 card that I had. I finally managed to get it working, and we sat down and made this tune in an hour or two with Atul's MIDI keyboard, and Jazz. We also played this song at the next Bangalore LUG meeting, where I was giving a presentation about making music with Linux and Jazz!

Download the MIDI file (14679 bytes), or the MP3 file (1730053 bytes). The MIDI file will sound pathetic unless you have a decent wavetable sound card, so I'd suggest you get the MP3.
